This is a beautiful tooltip that can be used in a very dynamic way.
Here’s how it works:
You have a button named “myButton“…
You just need to add the following in your timeline:

Pixel Fountain

Click your mouse to watch a shower of pixels emit from the bottom center of the movie. Their direction and speed is based on the position of the mouse. A glow filter is also applied to make them appear lighter. Each pixel is just that, a pixel created with the BitmapData. All pixels at any given time are drawn to the background which fades over time giving the appearance of trails.

Here is a simple example of how you might implement a selection marquee. Drag your mouse across the movie to create a selection similar to what you would see in Photoshop. The selection animates using a shifting texture applied with the drawing API.
